KNIFE AND STICK FIGHTING TACTICAL SEMINAR HELD
|
 On November 25 and 26, 2006, a Specwog seminar entitled "Tactical knife and stick seminar" was held in Zagreb. It was led by the Specwog chief instructor, Dean Rostohar, with the other Specwog instructors, Davor, Marko and Ivica.
The topics of the seminar were combat techniques with a knife, combat techniques with a tonfa and stick and combat techniques with a jawara (short tactical stick).
The seminar was attended by over thirty students from Hungary, Slovenia and all over Croatia (including members of the Armed Forces, Police, Security firms and interested civilians). We also had many female participants, a fact we are happy about.
The seminar included techniques, tactics and the philosophy of combat through unarmed defence against the knife techniques, knife vs. knife techniques, tonfa vs. knife, tonfa vs. stick, jawara vs. knife and jawara vs. stick.
It was a dynamic seminar and techniques were done on a principle of action/reaction to attack. This way, the students could practice the techniques with greater realism and learn to react quickly and correctly, using directions of movement, distance and rythm. All of the seminar participants were happy with what was shown and taught. |

TACTICAL SEMINAR IN AUSTRIA
|
A two days tactical seminar for members of the police, military and security companies was held in Amstetten, Republic of Austria on March 11 and 12, 2006.
The seminar was organized by the Herrmann brothers, themselves participants of the seminar and owners of the Special Army Shop – a shop specialized in weapons, military and police equipment and tactical accessories. About ten participants took part in the seminar – many of those expected could not come in the end, due to various obligations.
The seminar was led by Specwog instructors: Dean Rostohar, Davor Gašparović, Ivica Števanja and Marko Cerovečki.
The Seminar was very well organized and the hosts displayed great hospitality and respect towards the Specwog team, for which we thank them deeply. All of the participants were very pleased with the seminar and delighted by the combat techniques displayed, although somewhat surprised by Specwog’s efficiency.
The Specwog instructors themselves also had a chance to increase their experience in this seminar and were very happy with the performance and effort put in by the seminar’s participants.
To everyone’s satisfaction, we agreed to make this seminar a traditional event where Specwog instructors will come and train interested members of the Austrian police, military and security companyes. |

TACTICAL TELESCOPING STICK SEMINAR HELD

 Organised by the Specwog, the first Tactical telescoping stick seminar in Croatia was held in Zagreb on February 11 and 12, 2006. The seminar was lead by the Specwog chief instructor Dean Rostohar with the help of the other instructors of the Specwog team: Davor, Ivica and Marko.
Around 30 people from Austria, Slovenia and Croatia attended the seminar designed to acquaint them with the techniques and tactics of combat with a tactical telescoping stick.
The tactical telescoping stick has found its way in the past few years to the inventory of many officials of all branches of police in the world, security firms and private citizens who all use it as a means of self-defence and protection.
Dean Rostohar, the Specwog chief instructor, taught many aspects of combat and secrets of integrating the tactical telescoping stick through the use of the entire body and its natural weapons to create unstoppable techniques and defensive systems, against attackers with a knife or stick; all part of his Tactical-Technical Combat System (TTCS).

SEMINAR COMBAT TACTICS WITH THE KNIFE HELD

 A seminar with the theme "Combat tactics with a knife" has been held within the organization of Warrior arts club Specwog. The seminar was held in Zagreb on the 10/11.12.2005. The seminar was led by Specwog Instructors, which taught combat technics with the knife on the way of Tactical Technical Combat System.
In order to know how to defend ourselves efficiently from knife attack, it is neccessary to know how this knife functions and how it should be fought with. Unfortunately, with the increase of crime, a number of victims from knife injuries has also increased, what is unfortunately visible in the media every day. However, the knife is also an excellent mean of self-defence in the situations of ultimate neccessity and neccessary defence. There is no efficient defence from knife attack, if you don't understand that weapon.
There were some 60 participants from four countries on the seminar, among which there were members of police, armies, Croatian Airforce and security companies. We were very pleased that some ten girls attended the seminar.
The knife technics that were done were fast, flexible, explosive, adjustable, changeable, and this way, the seminar was very dynamic and energetic.
All seminar participants were very pleased with the shown and learned, and were a bit surprised with this kind of fighting, which is very fast and dynamic, and at the same time very efficient and usable in every combat situation. |
