SWAT Competition 2010
|
The 5th International SWAT Situational Shooting Competition, organized by Chief Police Department of Komárom-Esztergom County, will be held from May 18th –19th, in the city of Dorog, Hungary. The sponsor of this competition is Police Chief Fábián Gorgosilits, PhD and Police Colonel. Members of the Organizational Committee are Police Lieutenant Laszlo Borka and Police Chief Weapons Instructor János Csomán.
In Hungary, this County International SWAT Situational Shooting Combat Competition was regularly held during the past three years. Last year, besides thirteen Hungarian SWAT teams, the SWAT teams from seven other European countries – from Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Poland and Romania - also attended the competition. This year, the teams from Denmark, Switzerland, France and the USA, from the United Arab Emirates and from Croatia have also been invited to attend this competition and they have expressed the wish to participate. The organizer of famous American World Orlando SWAT competitions, Dave Arnott, will also be present at the competition, together with Olympic Skeet Shooting Champion Diana Igaly and ISSF Shooting World Champion, Peter Sidi.
The SWAT Situational Shooting Competition Organizational Committee has invited Chief Specwog Instructor Dean Rostohar as an honored guest of this competition. For a number of times Dean Rostohar was teaching the members of various units of Hungarian Police and Hungarian Armed Forces. Through his is experience and teaching, Instructor Rostohar has made a deep impression, showing true professionalism and a lot of knowledge.
During the competition, which will last two days and two nights, the SWAT teams will test their abilities, their tactical and technical skills and their endurance. They will also have the opportunity to spend time with SWAT teams from other countries, and thus exchange their experiences.

 • For the seventh year in a row, a seminar by the name of "Combat survival in rural areas" took place on 22-25.07.2004. (4 days and 3 nights) in the organisation of The warrior arts club "SPECWOG".
Way did we decide for this kind of seminar?! Unfortunately, in todays time crime rate and terorism have increased, so we considered that we are moraly obliged to help anyone who wishes to know how to defend . . .

 • Ever since there are wars and combats, there was also a need for special purposes units or so called Special forces. Those units, as the name suggests, were used for special tasks that could not be done by regular soldiers.
Even though this kind of units were used in many civilizations and countries throughout history, real fighters and first special purposes units were Ninja's and Ninja clan members. |
