The warrior arts Club

In order to expand and develop his knowledge, skill, experience, to study combat and warrior arts and further qualify himself, Dean Rostohar founded The warrior combat Club "SPECWOG©" which he owns and is the chief Instructor. It's the first and the only Club of this kind and this training in Croatia.

The warrior combat Club "SPECWOG©", originates from 2001, where Dean Rostohar organised a small group of enthusiasts, who want to perfect, train and explore all aspects of fighting and warrior arts and all forms of tactical trainings in all segments and fields of combat, from martial and warrior arts of self-defence to antiterorism, from unarmed combat to the fighting using weapons with blades and sticks, from firearms and equipment to personal protection, and survival in extreme conditions.

The field of interest of the warrior combat Club "SPECWOG©" is studying, training technics, tactics, strategy and all kinds and forms of combat, with the purpose of personal training and perfection, but also transfering knowledge and experience to the interested individuals, and eventually training interested official organisations of military and police, security companies and privat companies.

SPECWOG© is organised and qualified to transfer knowledge and experience, and carry out trainings, seminars, courses and exercises of combat and warrior arts with the purpose of self-defence and survival, and that through this kind of trainings interested students become more skilfull, safer, more self-aware and self-confident, more content, braver members of the society with higher quality and moral, and to contribute better to the community with the purpose of self protection and prosperity of thier country.

The goal of Dean Rostohar and SPECWOG© team is that, through their trainings, they grant the true combat and proper self-defence training through realistic fighting situations with or without weapons to all interested regular cityzens, inexperienced person, beginners, but also to experienced practitioners of various martial arts, to professionals-officials, policeman, soldiers and security guards, in order for them to respond to specific situations and defend themselves, and perform their official duty.

The drill and trainings of SPECWOG© are conceived and organised for today's purposes according to the system, way, technics, philosophy, and personal combat and war experiance of Dean Rostohar, who organised and created his original Tactical Technical Combat System – T.T.C.S. based on the way of fighting from various martial and warrior arts, and combat tactics and technics of the best Special teams.

As it shows, there is a great interest for this unique and efficient Tactical Techincal Combat System- T.T.C.S., and so, Dean Rostohar and the instructors of SPECWOG© till now have taught and trained with, among others: Special police unit "Alfa", Special response unit of PUZ; some security companies and individuals from bodyguarding business; many individuals from various army units; Croatian air force; individuals from various police departments of Crime police and Special police; individuals from security department of the American embassy; and individuals from Special police unit from Hungary and German border police. They were all thrilled with the shown technics, tactics and the way of fighitng, and with many we accomplished respectable cooperation. SPECWOG© team has also performed many demonstrations of their skills to the interested official organisations.

Many wonder why this kind of drill and trainings?! Why did we decide for this kind of club and to offer this kind of training to the public!?

Unfortunately, every day we witness increase in crime rate and the upcoming of terorism. Today, with this increase in crime and terorism, the need for self-defence, survival and protecting our own lives and the lives of our fellow beings, but also all those who need that kind of help, is more expressed. Every day we can see in the media, situations where innocent and unprotected persons get hurt, because they don't know how to defend themselves or they don't know how, when or what to do in dangerous situations. It's even more sad when official persons get hurt, those who are supposed to be trained for these kind of situations. These examples happen almost every day.

It's more and more of those who don't want to be victims, who want to stand up to violence with their Constitutional right and who want to learn how to defend and protect themselves. We can see more and more people who look for knowledge, practicing and perfecting skills which can save their lives and help them to protect themselves from violence.

In today's time, wtih the expansion of various martial sports and arts, we have a great number of clubs who teach sport technics which most the time don't have any conection with reality, and are taught by inexperianced instructors. Unfortunately, many clubs, but also official organisations don't give enough attention to quality and effective education of individuals with the purpose of qualifying him/her to properly and adequately react in combat situations.

Todays unarmed combat comes to a program of sport fights and sport technics which are performed in an obsolete way and have no conection to the real figthing situations which an individual can be faced with, a life threating fight, and can not effectively defend himself an therefore very often gets killed. The training of using fire arms in official organisations comes to fireing 3 trial + 5 bullets to the target every year, at a distance of 15-20 meters from a fireing position, in inadequate fireing ranges, which definitively has no connection to real combat training and let alone with proffesionality. In today's time with the increase of crime related to using fire arms, it is of great importance to understand the principles of using this weapon in the purpose of self-defence and attack prevention.

Therefore, we founded and opened The warrior combat Club "SPECWOG©", in which we train and learn, but we are also free to offer to all interested individuals and organisations, ranging from inexperienced persons to professionals who think that their knowledge and training is not adequate or they simply want to expand their knowledge; with our knowledge, experiance and ideas, a unique, original and efficient self-defence program Tactical Technical Combat System- T.T.C.S. where we offer series of theme seminars and courses on which all interested will be able to find the things they are interested in, and to perfect their skill of self-defence and protection.
